Qame

Qame is a gamified marketing platform that helps brands run quizzes, events and reward-based campaigns. I worked on shaping key product flows across campaigns, live event participation and sponsor-facing reports, making the experience easier to understand for both users and brands.

Overview

Making campaign participation easier to follow
Qame helps brands run interactive campaigns where users answer questions, join events, earn points and compete for real rewards. My work was about organizing these parts into clearer flows, so users could move through campaigns with less confusion and sponsors could understand what happened after each campaign.
Problem

The product had to serve two sides at once: users needed a simple and motivating way to join campaigns, while brands needed clear data about engagement, answers and campaign performance.

Design Focus

I focused on simplifying the campaign journey, clarifying event participation and making sponsor reports easier to scan and understand.

Decisions

-->

Shaping the Core

The hardest problems appeared where campaign rules, rewards and data met. I focused on simplifying those moments without removing the information users and sponsors needed.

01
Progressive Campaign Flow

Problem:

Campaigns combined entry rules, points, time limits, questions, attempts, participant thresholds and rewards. Showing everything at once could make the experience difficult to enter.

Decision:

I separated the journey into clear stages: understanding the campaign, reviewing key conditions, answering questions and reaching a result. Supporting details stayed available without competing with the next action.

Why it mattered:

Users could move through the campaign with less uncertainty, while the rules, reward logic and final outcome remained clear.

02
Purposeful Quest System

Problem:

Profile quests, brand missions and other point-earning actions served different goals, but could feel like one long list of unrelated tasks.

Decision:

I grouped quests by purpose and made the required action, reward and completion state visible at a glance. Profile quests supported richer user profiles, while mission quests introduced smaller brand-related actions.

Why it mattered:

Each quest felt more intentional, helping users understand what to do, what they would earn and how the task connected to their progress.

03
Actionable Sponsor Reports

Problem:

Sponsors needed more than participant totals. They had to understand campaign performance, completion, retries, audience patterns, winners, rewards and withdrawals without reading disconnected data.

Decision:

I grouped sponsor reports around three questions: how the campaign performed, how users behaved and what happened to the rewards. Related metrics were placed together with clearer hierarchy and labels.

Why it mattered:

Sponsors could scan what happened, identify drop-offs and understand reward outcomes without working through raw data.

Highlights

Across the Product

A quick look at the wider product areas I contributed to, beyond the core design decisions, from campaign participation to sponsor-facing tools and marketing surfaces.

01
Campaign Types

Qame supports different participation contexts through Public, Club and Event campaigns.

I worked on shaping these experiences so each model could serve its own rules and use cases without feeling disconnected from the core product.

02
Two Audiences

Qame needed to explain itself to two different audiences: users looking for rewards and brands looking for engagement.

I worked on landing experiences that framed the product around the value each audience needed to understand first.

03
Sponsor Operations

Beyond reporting, sponsors needed practical tools to run campaigns, monitor activity and understand outcomes.

I contributed to sponsor-facing surfaces that made those workflows easier to manage and easier to read.

What changed

The work helped turn Qame’s campaign mechanics into clearer user journeys, more structured sponsor tools and a more consistent experience across the product.

01
Clearer Participation

Campaign rules, questions, retries and results were organized into a more guided journey, giving users a clearer sense of what to do and what comes next.

02
Structured Insights

Sponsor reporting brought campaign performance, participant behavior and audience data into clearer groups, making results easier to review and understand.

03
Connected Experience

The work extended across the mobile app, sponsor tools and marketing pages, helping Qame communicate and behave more consistently across different touchpoints.

Reflection

-->

Looking Back
Qame changed how I think about simplifying complex products: clarity often comes from deciding when information appears, not simply removing it.
Clarity is about timing
Qame showed me that simplifying a complex experience does not always mean removing steps or information. The bigger challenge was deciding what users needed to understand now and what could wait until the next moment.
Keeping both sides useful
The hardest balance was keeping participation simple and motivating for users while still giving sponsors the structure and campaign data they needed on the other side.
